Kilim cushion – handmade in Morocco

Discover our unique kilim cushions made from vintage rugs from Morocco – a piece of history, craftsmanship and character all rolled into one decorative cushion. Each cushion is hand-sewn from old, traditional kilim rugs that once adorned Berber homes in the Moroccan mountains. The result is a unique blend of heritage, sustainability and authentic design.

This unique pillow has two sides. Both a front and a back (see pictures 1 and 2).

Because they are made from recycled carpets, no two are alike. Each cushion has slight variations in color, texture, and pattern – and there may be minor imperfections. This is a natural part of the material’s history and is what gives each cushion its soul and character.

The cushions are made of 100% wool, a durable and natural material that gives a warm and exclusive feel. They fit perfectly in both modern and classic homes, and are ideal as sofa cushions, decorative cushions or as an exciting eye-catcher in the living room, hallway or bedroom.

  • Size approx. 50 x 50 cm (variations may occur as each cushion is handmade).
  • Made from vintage kilim rugs from Morocco.
  • 100% wool

Care:

  • The cushions can be washed on the wool program in a washing machine, but we recommend first trying to remove any stains by hand to preserve them for as long as possible.
  • Use lemon soap or another mild soap suitable for wool.

Materialer og pleie
  • Ull
  • Putene er laget av 100 % ull, et slitesterkt og naturlig materiale som gir en lun og eksklusiv følelse.
  • Putene kan vaskes på ullprogram i vaskemaskin, men vi anbefaler først å prøve å fjerne eventuelle flekker for hånd for å bevare dem lengst mulig.
  • Bruk sitronsåpe eller annen mild såpe tilpasset ull.

Hver pute er håndsydd av gamle, tradisjonelle kelimtepper som tidligere har prydet berberhjem i de marokkanske fjellene. Resultatet er en unik blanding av kulturarv, bærekraft og autentisk design.

Denne helt unike puten, har to sider. Både en fremside og en bakside (se bilde 1 og 2). 

Fordi de er laget av gjenbrukte tepper, finnes det ikke to som er like. Hver pute har små variasjoner i farge, tekstur og mønster – og det kan forekomme små skjønnhetsfeil. Dette er en naturlig del av materialets historie og nettopp det som gir hver pute sin sjel og sitt særpreg.
