Nambya baskets in green tones

These particularly beautiful baskets are made by the Nambya people who live in and around the large national park in eastern Zimbabwe. Introduce natural materials into your interior with the use of African baskets. Nambya baskets are handmade from thin roots that are dyed with bark. Roots woven together with recycled plastic create new patterns in the colors used in the traditional weaving, which is often done by grandmothers. An old craft that fits perfectly into our Nordic homes. Each dish and each basket is special, with unique patterns.
