Bolga Art Basket 07

A fantastic organic shape and with a pattern that gives an ethnic vibe. This art basket is made by a tribe in Bolatanga, Ghana, where you will find perhaps Africa's most skilled basket weavers. Bolgatanga, in the far north of Ghana, is known for its beautiful wickerwork and here we have obtained a few examples.

Made from wild elephant grass in nature and colored with plant dyes, all baskets are unique and with slight variations.

Large basket in natural with a blue pattern around the neck. Dimensions: approx. 45-50 cm high, 55-60 in diameter and 22 cm in the opening.
