We always ship our baskets folded flat, so they need a little help to find their shape and stand up properly. Jute is very flexible, so where there are creases, fold them back on themselves. You may have to do this a few times to the point where the creases almost disappear. We then recommend filling the baskets with towels for a couple of days to allow them to find their shape.
- Jute changes color in the sun, so make sure to keep it out of direct sunlight.
-If you put a potted plant in this basket, you must use a saucer under the pot or a tight pot to collect water.
- To clean, we suggest you vacuum your basket or occasionally take it outside on a dry day and shake or beat it to remove dirt particles.
- Wipe up water-based spills with paper towels or an absorbent cloth as soon as possible. Do not rub stains or spills from your basket as this can spread the stain.
