"Giraffe" 98x98

"This image will always have a very special place in my career, firstly there is nothing better when I get the opportunity to immortalize an animal in its natural habitat without me, and my presence, disturbing. For me, compositions like this, where the animal is in its right element, undisturbed and safe, stand far above compositions with close-ups of a predator that has all its focus on me because I am intruding on their world. This young giraffe was grazing peacefully in a forest glade with its mother when I passed. I got a few measured seconds here in Hwange, Zimbabwe, with these two before they disappeared into the dense foliage

All animals are wild animals photographed in freedom in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya and Senegal. The images are not "photoshopped".
